yes it was a buy it now or nearest offer to $109.99...but nobody bought it...
there were 6 offers and they were all declined and then it got relisted for $30 less and i still don't think it got sold...so 220752644884 should not be on the shocker list

or else you could just list an entire collection of stuff at $500 a piece for a buy it now or best offer...and reject all the offers but still get a shocker log entry at $500 a piece ...so Jon please kill tapestry..

Ted Nugent Free For All Q8 just sold for $201.00... With a damaged case too! What's the deal with Get Your Wings and Free-For-All? They seem to be the rarest and most expensive Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Q8's. Is there a particular reason for this? I understand the UK Floyd tapes, but these are US Columbia tapes.

The 'Nuge tape is pretty rare. It doesn't show up on ebay all that often. It's also a pretty late Q8, so may have had a very limited run. I've seen LOTS more Get your Wings Q8's and even have one myself - and I've always said if I have one, it can't be all that rare.
 
Wow, what a coincidence speaking of the "Free for All" and "Get Your Wings" q8s. I bought those titles on the same day along with the q8 of Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" about ten years ago. The guy at the record store was half apologizing to me for the "high" prices he quoted me, pointing out that the titles I picked out were "pretty cool". I got the "Free for All" and "Get Yor Wings" q8s for $3.00 each and the q8 of "Wish You Were Here" for $4.00. Best $10 I ever spent.
 
That's funny, what's even funnier is I was actually gonna mention WYWH! But I already mentioned that one in another thread. I still don't know why it's so expensive. That is my 2nd most expensive Q8... It was in the upper 90 dollar range if I remember correctly. Get Your Wings is the most expensive by FAR @ 152 dollars. And I suppose when it's my turn for Free For All, that will become my most expensive Q8. I can't beloved it sold that high with abdamaged case. The only ones I think may cost me more are the 3 UK tapes I want. DSOTM, AHM, and Electric Light Orchestras first album.
 
Japanese Q4's are the rarest of the rare. Imagine what the Carpenter "Now and Then" reel would sell for.
