I was looking at the Discogs page for Andre Previn's recording of Orff's "Carmina Burana". To all appearances, the studio master for this had SQ encoding, so in theory, the encoding would remain even in later remasterings and in all formats (vinyl, tape, CD). And this one got several later releases, including MFSL and Hi-Q. My question is, has anyone ever checked this (seeing if the encoding is still there)?
There doesn't seem to be any multichannel disc releases (SACD, DVD-Audio, Blu-Ray). I have the old Angel vinyl and that's all I need, but I am curious.
