Dual Disc Any Chance John Mayer DD Mix is Different then SACD?

I found the mix on the SACD very dissapointing. Any chance the mix on the Dual Disc is different?

Probably not. It wouldn't be very cost effective to remix the albulm in 5.1 if it was done already. The Bowie mix was identical to the SA-CD too.

Shame. I haven't been overly impressed with most of the pop mainstream 5.1 mixes on SA-CD. The engineers working with DVD-A always seem to do a bit better in this regard. There are exceptions like Pink Floyd, Beck, and Elton John, but they are few. Maybe it is a Columbia records thing??
