I recall being a bit bored with the Atmos album too. But the Live in Tehran concert is discrete 5.1 and I really enjoyed it. Maybe seeing the musicians doing their thing helped. Synths and percussion.
I recommend checking out the Tehran show, for those that might have went straight for the album and haven't gotten around to the extras.
I agree regarding the music. The Teheran Concert and the Panta Rhei is really nice! But the album itself...?

Atmos mix of Moby's Reprise album, also available for streaming via Tidal and Apple Music, is getting a physical release on November 12.

The CD+BD-V combo also contains recent Moby Doc biopic (90 mins), behind-the-scenes feature plus videos for "Natural Blues", "Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad?" and "Extreme Ways".

No word yet if the immersive mix engineer Nick Rives has created a dedicated 5.1 mix (advertised as "Dolby 5.1" on the cover below).

Thank you for the info, humprof. I also ordered a UHD4K film which is only available in Germany. Could not believe how inexpensive the s/h is from Germany > the U.S. ONLY $4.84 for two items!!!!!

If only I could speak German! Thank gawd for Google Translate! Tried switching to ENGLISH but when it came time for my address info .... everything was in German.....seems intuitive until you start filling in the info ......

This one I want a review on please.
I'm not equipped for ATMOS but judging from the 5.1 mix ....... a very tepid mix with mainly rear ambience. The music is pleasant enough but not worth, IMO, the $43 I paid from a third party Amazon seller. The two discs including an RBCD come in a Super Audio Jewel case stacked one atop the other.

If the price drops considerably, I would recommend it.

Like the MOBY "Reprise" ATMOS remix [again even in 5.1] no 'excitement' coming from the rear [or I'd imagine] overhead ATMOS speakers.

I have NO idea how the ATMOS remix fares {a few fellow QQers quipped NO BIG DEAL} but I do LOVE the 5.1 remix and the stunning fidelity! Of course, it again begs the question ...... Did we need the 2 Vinyl discs? Thankfully, I was able to purchase it during UDiscover Music's recent 40% off sale [and it arrived today well packaged in primo MINT condition] and since I have NO interest in the 'bonus extras' paying $90+ for essentially a BD~A in surround is a bit exorbitant.....but at the $150 list price ...... highway robbery!

Is that a Jim Anderson mix?
Leslie Ann Jones - recording session described in this great article:

Also, found this recommendation:
American Soldier, available on blu ray, is outstanding. I was in the front row a few years back on Veteran's Day for the U.S. Army Field Band performing all of these songs - fantastic! I really recommend this highly to everyone, its that excellent!

That's an artist I don't understand...meaning...always heard of him, never heard him. Clueless....
I know what you mean, but the previews I did on YouTube sound pretty good and it's in Atmos. It's like those two latter day Santana albums with all the guest performers. I ordered one from Amazon. (Yes, it's a bit of a premium over the .de source, but Amazon deliveries have been more reliable than others.)

MISTER MOTO – The J.B. Experience – Dolby Atmos – Auro-3D

I received it today.

A good Dolby Atmos mix. Not as aggressive as Yello-Point, but it has a balance between the traditional and the discrete.

Almost all songs start with the traditional main sound at the fronts and ambience, echo, reverberation at the rears and tops. BUT then, as the songs evolve, you get a discrete placement of the instruments and chorus voices that gives a very high immersion and instruments separation.

Sometimes you hear an echo at the end of the voice in the rears and top rears, enough delayed, that seems either a repetition or an echo in a very large room. I like that effect.

What I like most is that it has a great use of the Wides. Sometimes you hear a guitar ‘only’ from the two Wides, very loud, and putting my ear next to the fronts, I only hear like a very small echo of that guitar. So, all that guitar sound is coming only from the Wides. It gives a really great wide and deep sound stage, and it is one of the few albums that locate much Atmos objects at the Wides position. Other being Big Phat Band – The Gordian Knot.

The main vocals are always exclusively at the Center speaker. Although the voice is good and clear enough, I miss a more expansive vocals, either stereo or using more speakers. Only in the middle of the last song, the slowest part of the song, there is a great main vocal that expands to more speakers and make the sonic bubble.

Why so many Atmos mixers consider that only instruments and not main vocals can be located and moved everywhere? I like very much when I hear voices, even only the main vocal, coming from different locations. The conservative way of only main vocal in the center and chorus in the rears is boring.

I only did a single complete listening yet. But I can conclude that I like enough the Atmos effects to enjoy this album, considering that this Rock, Alt. Rock is not one of my preferred music styles.
My copy arrived today.

Whole heartedly agree with this review.

Bought on a whim and very glad I did...as now doing a Baggy Blind Test. :D

Not many Rock albums in Atmos with this attention to detail.

But then it is from MSN Studios, Germany 🇩🇪 via Horus Studios, for the mixing.

This release is cool and subby driven.

It will get many more plays.

Bought it from here:
