Hi: Has anyone bought the Donovan title "Fairy Tale" either in DVD-A or Dualdisc? I can imagine the 5.1 mix is a Silverline travesty...but how are the overall sonics? I have not been able to find any comments on it in a search.

I agree wholeheartedly with myself! On 6-18-2006, Larry Geller said: "NONE of their British 1960s material (Donovan, Searchers, etc.), or their live Front Row stuff (10cc, etc.) have any stereo or mono track--only the worst fake surround ever."
One day later, Ed Bishop said "Silverline had some good discs, but Donovan, the Searchers and Foundations were not among them."

I have it now, it’s not really surround sound, but it does sound good. Nice mostly acoustic songsHi: Has anyone bought the Donovan title "Fairy Tale" either in DVD-A or Dualdisc? I have it. Bought it b/c Mrs. Baggins likes Donovan from her childhood (she's named after one of his songs).
It sounds fine. Just no surround-wow.
I suppose for Donovan fans like myself , the BONUS TRACKS , are worth owning this disc .Hi: Has anyone bought the Donovan title "Fairy Tale" either in DVD-A or Dualdisc?
