Otis Spann - Good Morning Mr. Blues

Recorded late ‘63 in Copenhagen, just him and a piano. Amazing music and the sound is stunning. And he was only 33 when this was recorded. This was on my Acoustic Sounds wishlist for years, shoulda bought it sooner.

Original LP was on the Storyville label with different title and artwork. Same tracks and running order on this CD with 3 extra songs.

Sarah McLachlan - Solace

Haven’t played this in a very long time. She’s local so have always supported her, but this album hasn’t aged well IMO, too many slow dreary songs mixed in with the more upbeat tracks. Sound is a bit dull on this original Nettwerk pressing. Nothing terrible just, meh.
Was thinking of buying the AP SACD but…
