The new "Midnight Love" SACD by Marvin Gaye is due out on Tuesday (5/14). But the folks at Fry's Electronics already have them on the shelves. (In the case of the Fry's in Sunnyvale, right next to the DTS 5.1 CDs).
This release features a new 5.1 Multichannel mix done by Jimmy Douglass. He is the engineer/producer responsible for the very immersive surround mix of "The Life" by Ginuwine on Epic Multichannel SACD - one of the best sounding of the Multichannel SACDs to date on Epic.
The new Marvin Gaye is a winner as well if you like aggressive surround mixes. If you don't, I guess there's always the Stereo SACD layer to fall back on here!
