Some cassette deck have a "Playtrim" adjustment that boosts or cuts the treble before the (typically Dolby B) NR system to try to correct for treble losses due to mechanical alignment issues etc.
My DS encoded cassette is Dolby S encoded, I haven't tried it yet w/DPL(1), my cassette machines have either Dolby B NR or no NR.
Anyone tried matrix encoded cassette(s) on different cassette machines (with the correct NR), is the decoded directionality (no logic or logic decoder) pretty much the same regardless of the cassette machine?
