Haven't done one of these in a while - as always with these articles, hopefully you guys find it interesting!
https://immersiveaudioalbum.com/qa-with-mert-ozcan-dolby-atmos-mix-engineer/...and this is probably old news to a lot of folks here, but the Atmos mix of St. Vincent's Daddy's Home is INCREDIBLE. I think it disappeared from Apple Music for a while, but I gave it a full listen for the first time earlier this week and was promptly blown away. The song "Down" in particular makes for a great Atmos demo.

Love all the inside-baseball tech talk. He's very politic about not wanting to badmouth Apple, but it's also good to hear that Apple has responded to feedback from mixing engineers and begun improving the sorts of things that we heard so many mixers complaining about in the past.

I want to know what other albums he's responsible for!

Ooh that last little bit is exciting; the upcoming Sigur Ros album will be in Atmos (and he did the first two SR Atmos mixes too)
Curious as to… what that album will be. I know they’re doing the soundtrack to a Moomin game, I wonder if it’s that or something bigger.

Great interview as always!
