It's not a bad looking deck but don't get confused , this is not anologe, it's DATand still subject to tape stretch and other tape based problems. But still a viable Peice!

I never really understood the advantage of DAT. Seemed to me it was the worst of all worlds. So you have tape dropouots, stretching, heat sensitivity, etc, and when it works, it sounds like a cd, not an analogue recording. HUH? I guess it was in the days before cdr's, but now what good is it?
