Oppo 103 Front HDMI Input issue

First time I've used HDMI inputs on the Oppo 103. Back input works, but when front input is selected I have no video or audio.
Is there some option setting that could affect this? The manual sounds straightforward, select input, and that's it.
I'm trying to add a set-top box to playback through it.

Thanks, I forgot I could still contact them! It's a cable box I hooked up, it works direct into the projector. Actually works on both 103 inputs as well.
It turns out I wasn't waiting long enough, I'd guess it is locking on to resolution. Probably took about 8 or 10 seconds.
