I had heard that the WEA Group was about to select QS for Quad Discs, but I hadn't read a confirmation.
I recall seeing a few Mobile Fidelity CD-4 discs at a record store in Downtown Des Moines IA in 1973-02
(at that time, Mobile Fidelity was recording/releasing albums of Train Sounds etc., not remasters).
I didn't know at that time that the WEA Group had selected CD-4, I was surprised to see CD-4 records that
weren't on an RCA (affiliated) label.
