Finally did it. 
I just posted my totally rebuilt QSD-1 on ebay. Goes live at 8 pacific. This is one i have owned since i could stay up all night. @: Since i can not do that anymore, 1 more unit has to go. I am keeping the d1000 since it is smaller. Seems important but not sure why. This is a better bet at decoding and kicks PL2 with a very smooth delivery. PL2 got hazy with that center. This has all new caps and blend resistors removed. These are the Holy Grail as far as i have ever heard. Especially after redoing the caps. If someone wants to toss me a bid here, i can see if it is worth it. Nothing i have heard including the aussie box sounds this discrete at 4 channel separation. And it is a clean nice unit. Love those old Sansui products.
