I am going to recap my Sansui SP-3500 speaker crossovers as a prelude to recapping a Sansui QRX-777 receiver.

Here is an image of the crossover board:

I unscrewed all the screws on the board and unscrewed the nuts from the two pots in the back, yet I still cannot get the board to pop out, which I will need for recapping. I have a feeling its the stereo speaker wire posts that are holding it on to the plastic back, but I could not figure out an easy way to get them off? Does anyone have experience with this?

What if you tried desoldering the speaker terminals identified as "input" then pulling up the board?

Radio shack has a great desoldering iron.

I have not tried that, but I think that sounds like the most logical explanation. I will try that. Thanks for the advice!

I had to unsolder the speaker leads from the board to pull it out. That said, thanks again for the advice, and my recapping is complete. It worked like a charm and I am very pleased with the results.
