But she started as an album jacket designer, and in addition to Madonna's 1983 debut, she designed covers for The Wallflowers, The Stylistics, Le Mystère Des Voix Bulgares, Simon & Garfunkel, Sly & The Family Stone, Steve Reich, Kronos Quartet, J. Geils Band, Chic, Charles Mingus, Arthur Blythe, Peter Wolf, Janis Ian, and Maggie & Terre Roche, among many others.
