Robert Fripp & Theo Travis DVD-A coming?

spotted this little tidbit towards the end of the interview:

First I need to finish recording and mixing the next Travis & Fripp album, which is planned to be a CD and 5.1 surround sound DVD-A, as well as possibly a vinyl release. That will hopefully be ready by the autumn.

Why would they do that?

They can't make any money on a DVD-A?
And it would confuse customers.
And there are no people who have players.

Nah - all we really need is a Dolby Digital version.
Who needs lossless high resolution anyway when you can look at the pictures and listen to MP3 instead?

CD/DVD-A, but it doesn't look like there is a 5.1 mix on this one.
I'm sure Neil authored it so he can probably provide more info.

I saw this too and was really excited for a second, until I read that it was hi-rez stereo on the DVDA. I'm still going to buy it, but 5.1 would have been way better.

Sorry to tell you this does not have a 5.1 mix.
