I was just wondering if anyone knows any information regarding how Warner Bros. and Rhino work when it comes to releasing DVD-A titles.
I had thought that the Rhino subsidiary was handling catalog titles while WB handled "newer" titles, but that's definitely not true. Magnification was released through Rhino but Rumours was not. Perhaps WB only lets Rhino handle "smaller" titles on a case-by-case basis?
I was also thinking that perhaps the lack of information regarding the disappearance of some previously announced titles might be due to one side 'leaving it up' to the other side. DVD-Audio has completely disappeared from the Rhino site, so if Rhino was responsible for promoting a disc like What's New, it would explain why we haven't heard anything about it (do you get the feeling that I was really looking forwad to that disc?)
Any thoughts on this?
