You are MORE than welcome! Great news indeed. Those Tower Records ECM hybrid Stereo SACD remasters were a PITA to order through CDJapan's PROXY service and were needlessly expensive. Maybe ImportCD will have one of their 10% off sales soon and we can save even more.
Yeah, these look good, I've already got the main Metheny titles, but picked up this one (which I didn't know about MC though oops for ~$18!)

Sorry @Perpendicular but I totally disagree with you.
I have the standard re-mastered disc and the SCH -SACD. To my ears they sound very different.
Remastered is harsh with no balls.
SACD is smooth & delightful.
There is also a big difference in dynamic range:
Remastered - 8 average
SACD - 12 average
Here are notes from the SACD
'DSD flat transferred from UK original analogue master tapes [...] at FX Copyroom, London, in 2014"

I do play the SACD quite often but, for some reason, have not heard it since sometime last year and haven’t made the comparison for several years. Since I have higher resolution loudspeakers now, I will listen to the discs again and get back to you.
Not in my collection yet, but just pre-ordered 2 SHM-SACD from ImportCD...

And for good reason. I tried to locate my copy of the SACD and did not find it. It turns out it was the SHM-CD that I listened to originally. I’m sorry that I misspoke.
Now, I’m really curious about the SACD.

A day or two after this hit the street, I went to order it from Music Direct. It was already sold out. I found it at Acoustic Sounds. I ordered this 10 days ago over the phone. While I was on the phone, they got the charge approval. Yet, it took from Monday AM to Friday just to ship. Acoustic Sounds customer service sucks!

I picked up this SACD of Getz Gilberto at Half Price Books the other day for $8.
Note that on the back it has the RedBook CD logo. It does not say Hybrid SACD nor mention a surround layer.
Today on my way to work (45 minutes each way) I tried to play it in the car CD player (2005 Honda) and it gave a Disc error message and spat the disc back out. I also have it in RBCD.

Gene, if you look at the spine, it says "SACD stereo." Back cover has white rectangle again w/"SACD stereo." I have this disc. It is neither hybrid nor surround. There was a sticker on sealed copies saying "plays ONLY on SACD players." This title was also released as a Japan SACD, again single layer.
