Yessongs at 50

Today (May 18) marks 50 years since the release of the triple-live vinyl of Yessongs. My favourite album of all time (bit of a cheat I know, as it's like three albums rolled into one), and yes, the audio was (and always has been) poor, but the power and speed of the live versions show how great they were in concert back then (and I have a vague memory of that too, from March '73 when they came to Oz). And not to forget Roger Dean's stunning artwork, posters of which adorned my bedroom walls back then.

So Happy Fiftieth Birthday to Yessongs, and my gratitude for being around all these years to enjoy it.

Funny I was just listening to Yessongs last night: a friend lent me his CD copy, I was going to compare it to my original LP.

And wow $1,500 for the Progeny CD's?

I guess you don't have to worry about bad vinyl pressing though
