I have a couple of 4-channel recordings from the 70's that has been converted to DVD-A. The problem is that the 4 channels have been
conrted to what they are i.e. FR, FL, RR, RL and DVD-A reqires a center and also a dedicated bass channel, the .1. When played through my DVD-A system there is absolutely no bass at all since my speakers are small ones with a subwoofer that is not fed with anything from the amplifier. I guess there is nothing to do about it since my recordings have been converted to 4.0 sound? For those in DTS there is no problem since that sound is in it's digital form to the amplifier and not analogue as the DVD-A sound. Is this just a fact, or is there anything I can do about it???
