I have been looking at info on building a Home Theater PC, and stumbled onto the problem of encryption with SACD. Has anyone here had experience migrating SACD or DVD-A discs to a hard drive for HTPC playback?

Personally, I'm against protection of audio discs. I think if I buy it, I should be able to make a cassette for my boom box, or burn a CDR of my MFSL CD to play in my car instead of letting someone swipe it , and having it gone forever.

Any advice or links appreciated. Here's my main link:

SACD Has no way yet to be played in a pc /cdrom drive. Or to be copied as an sacd disc . Dvd A can be played in a pc/dvd-rom drive and is supported by Creatives Audigy 2 sound card and others soon to follow! I'm referring to the High Rez tracks here.

That's what I thought...hadn't seen any non-component SACD players that could be part of a PC yet...
