New arrival. Mark Knopfler - One Deep River; SDE #18
Mine arrived today, as well, Rusty. Sounds great on my secondary system but will give it a proper spin tonight on my new system. So far, so GOOD!

The five Bonus Tracks are in Dolby ATMOS ..... nice touch! Touché!

edit: The stereo option in LPCM 192/24 sounds FANTASTIC, as well!

Crossfade CROSSFADE [fg Records/Columbia Records/DUALDISC/DD 5.1] Now here's an oddity. A Post Grunge, alternative Rock album from 2005 recorded in a basement Studio in South Carolina and superbly remixed into discrete 5.1 by Thom Cadley and mastered by Darcy Proper. And on my new system even freakin' Dolby Digital sounds AMAZING! Crossfade even borders on Heavy Metal and listening to it for the first time I could only recommend it to those who like their music loud and discrete! Has one music video and interviews with one of the tracks performed acoustically!

I couldn't agree with you more 4-earredwonder. I'm a Mark Knopfler fan, and One Deep River is one excellent, finely crafted album. The standout track for me is "This One's Not Going To End Well". Limited to 2,000 worldwide, I'm very happy to have my copy.

Pearl Jam DARK MATTER [Monkey Wrench Records/Republic/1 RBCD/1 BD~A Dolby ATMOS/2.0 Stereo 48/24] Just played it on my new system at 82 db in DolbyTrue HD 7.1 and to my ears it sounds fantastic. The PJs don't disappoint and Eddie Vedder's vocals are outstanding. Now let's get their back catalogue remixed into ATMOS! Highly Recommended!

Jack Bruce SHADOWS IN THE AIR [Sanctuary Records/Silverline/MLP DVD~A 5.1/96/24] Do yourselves a favor and pick up this little gem while it's still affordable. Guest stars include Eric Clapton on White Room and Sunshine of Your Love, Dr. John, Gary Moore and Vernon Reid. In Discrete 5.1

THE FILM MUSIC OF JERRY GOLDSMITH [Telarc/Multi~CH SACD 5.1/Pure DSD Recording] A sumptuous discrete recording conducted by Goldsmith himself with the London Symphony Orchestra. One of the best in the film composing business and this album certainly attests to the diversity of his compositions from Star Trek to The Omen to Patton et alia ...... Very Highest Recommendation!

Waiting for my copy. You've got me excited.

Luther Vandross NEVER TOO MUCH [EPIC/SONY LEGACY/SDE Enclusive/BD~A Dolby ATMOS/Stereo] Gave it a proper listen on my new system and while Tracks 1~3 are excellent, IMO, the ATMOS really 'kicked in' from tracks 4~7 ...... And the addition of the 12" remix of NEVER TOO MUCH was a nice bonus.

For R&B lovers ...a NO brainer!
