Reference Recordings continues to issue new SACDs.
The latest news is the first in a planned series of Stereo and Multichannel SACDs by the Pittsburg Symphony called "Fresh!". The new recordings will be made by Sound Mirror, the team behind the original RCA Living Stereo 2 and 3 Channel Stereo SACD reissues a few years ago.
The initial SACD release features the Symphony performing Strauss: Don Juan; Death and Transfiguration and Till Eulenspiegel’s Merry Pranks. As with their last SACD, the Hybrid Stereo SACD comes out first (it is now available) with the Hybrid Multichannel SACD to follow.
