I thought it might be helpful to have a definitive listing of SW's Atmos mixes, these seem to be popping up at a breakneck pace on the streaming services and I wouldn't want any to slip through the cracks. Plus, folks who aren't streaming may not be aware of what's out there.

I've added links to streaming (Apple Music only for now, I can add Tidal too if someone wants to PM me all the links) and physical versions (Discogs) where applicable, plus QQ discussion and poll threads. There are no plans to create poll threads for streaming-exclusive Atmos titles at this time.

Yeah, I’d be surprised if there wasn’t one (as there is definitely a 5.1 mix too).

Seems his standard MO would be to provide a box set option with the BD as extremely likely given his respect for physical media fans. (what he controls at least) Perhaps a stand-alone BD appears at the same time or later on.

I believe all of his solo albums so far have been available at launch as either a CD/DVD-A package (Insurgentes) or a standalone Blu-ray (Grace For Drowning onwards). This includes the last two albums (To The Bone and The Future Bites) released on Caroline, a major label subsidiary. I'd be very surprised if The Harmony Codex doesn't receive the same treatment.

Note that he says this about American Beauty: "first release of remixed material from a broader project, also planned to include physical editions, taking in a lot of the Dead’s core catalogue."

Yeah, that’s pulled direct from his Facebook post announcing the Atmos mix last August. Fingers-crossed for a single BD from Rhino in the vein of the upcoming Moondance release (which I’m surprised he hasn’t posted about yet).

Also, Europe ‘72 in Atmos is missing from the spatial audio discography.

The only sad part ist the (there obvious) general tendency to bury the great new mixes either in a massively overpriced boxset (starting with Kiss' Destroyer album) or presentig it only as a lossy stream (starting with Chic) while omitting a physical release. That's really a shame, because obviously we can't count on Paul @ SDE for every single physical release that _should_ be done...

I see it the other way around, I think it's nice that we can listen to these Atmos mixes from the expensive boxes without having to pay for the big box. I buy standalone BD's with Atmos mixes if I like the music, but no big boxes anymore for me.

I found this a while ago when I wanted to find out who mixed the Atmos for the recent St Vincent album, which has become a regular listen. Turns out the the guy who did it, Mert Ozcan, has a lot of other Atmos credits and a playlist to illustrate that :

The Sigur Ros stuff was a discovery, along with a bunch of one-off things by artists I was previously unaware of.

This is awesome! Thanks for sharing. But digging through it found some odd things... JT 'Heavy Horses' and 'Songs from the Wood' only 2ch stereo remixes indicated.

That’s interesting considering the header for the page itself clearly states spatial audio. Also if you look at the preview that appears on QQ for the link it actually says Chicago strangely.
