Of course! (re: Spelling Mistake)
To answer the original question, I have to think. It would be smart to choose an artist that has a very large output to benefit the most from getting "their entire" catalog out. That relegates this to "old fart" acts that were around in the late 60s-early 70s to now. Beatles are an obvious choice, although most fans have already lived through their peak Bealtes listening years.
I would start with Neil Young. Such a diverse catalog, however, if we waited for Neil to do it, he'd be dead and we'd be dead! @:
The next slot could be a solo artist like Paul Simon, Billy Joel, James Taylor, Elton John. Mainstream artists with deep catalogs of albums, both good and not so good.
Then the power of a group like Aerosmith, the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin.
Sounds like a bad playlist from a classic rock station! :yikes
These things are difficult to answer, as there are so many choices.
Then again, you could always go eclectic. I mean, who would not want to hear "Spiders and Snakes" by Jim Stafford in 5.1!
This is way,way to hard to only put down 3, so will put a few trios.
