I could tell you, but would then have to shoot you afterwards and I don't fancy the jail time......:yikes
I'll spring for the info as soon as I am cleared to do so

According to Classic Rock Prog magazine it's:

1) CD, new mix
2) CD, alternate takes and bonus tracks
3) CD, new stereo mix
4) DVD-A with the 5.1 and hi-res stuff
5) DVD with live video content

No detail on the video content...just the Cal Jam stuff again and maybe some stuff from the spring 73 euro tour they filmed for the Manticore Special?

Do you mean CD1: Original Mix?
Surely the new mix is not duplicated on 2CDs, right?

Regardless, now THIS is a good set, and I'm definitely in as soon as I can preorder it… ;)

Doh! Yeah, original mix but new remaster for disc 1.

If the price is not too steep I'll not hesitate at all....if it is too much then I might hesitate but still open the wallet in the end.

Thank you, I pre-ordered the big box asap

For anyone, I suggest if you want the big box set, order now, price is good ! £41 after tax

Yes, great price now. Any guesses what the 6 disc set will be? The set described above is 5 discs:

1) CD, new mix
2) CD, alternate takes and bonus tracks
3) CD, new stereo mix
4) DVD-A with the 5.1 and hi-res stuff
5) DVD with live video content

The 3 disc set is presumably:

1- cd-original remastered
2-cd- alternative takes and bonus tracks
3- DVD-A

I'm looking for a reason to go for the 6 discs, rather than the 3

Amazon UK now showing it as 7 Discs..!

Probably includes a bloody vinyl. Oh well. I can sell that for £20

£50 is excellent for the deluxe set, and I guess it won't stay at that price for long. Compare that to the Aqualung price at £80 plus @:

£11 is amazing though for the 3 discs, including the 5.1 dvda

The Yes Album price on Amazon I see has increased again, and is now more expensive than Burning Shed.

I ordered the yes bluray&cd the day it was listed at £13

Seems to be my lucky week, got a new job today as well ! Ripper

7 discs right now, 50 pounds, couldn't resist to preorder. Most likely I'll downgrade to the 3 disks later on when I get more accurate information. Thanks for the heads up!

I believe it is 6 discs, 5 are CD/DVD and 1 is the vinyl. Unless the last 2 discs are in 45 RPM as a double LP ?

All I want is the CD and DVDs

Me too. I still can't convince myself though to pay another £40, just to get 1 additional cd (new mix, which is possibly also on the dvda) and 1 additional dvd (documentary) plus unwanted vinyl and probably a nice book.

Congrats on the job

Maybe I missed this but...

has a date been announced for Trilogy? that's the one I'd like to get in 5.1.
and is this Brain Salad mix supposed to be different than the DVD-A version? if Steven Wilson, I presume it is. I already have the DVD-A and wonder how much different this can be.

The self-titled album I thought was excellent and always loved that album for the music alone. I also have Tarkus but found the music content itself less satisfying.

I'm thinking about double-dipping BSS but may wait until some of you who have the DVD-A can compare the mixes :)
