I saw a Charles Mingus, I thought he had only a cd-4 record

All the quadraphonic BASF records I know were SQ-encoded. Or had them released in QS outside Germany?

Cool ad. Yes, Mike QS was an also-ran. It wasn't in 3rd place from the get, however. It was the preeminent Quad LP format for a short while. QS records predate SQ by a year and CD-4 by two years. Only EV Stereo-4 predates QS.
