Hi surround fan fam This is Alain Mallet. Thanks for your support of my Mutt Slang records. Elliot Scheiner and I are sorry that Mutt Slang 2 didn’t win the Grammy this time. We’ll try again soon. For now I’m writing because while the Grammys were underway, a tragic car accident took the life of Matt Hayes, tracking engineer on Mutt Slang 1&2 and so many other projects in the Boston area. Matt was thirty seven years old, and the sole provider to his family including his two very young kids. We’ve created a fundraiser, and the Boston music family has stepped up. Now I reach out to all of those who have enjoyed his work without even knowing it perhaps. Please Quadra fam, join the Boston music fam and help this family. Any amount will help seal Matt’s legacy and remind us all, and most of all his wife and children, of the lasting mark he left in this music world. Thank you
