Dr. John Plays Mac Rebennack sound very good on 2ch Classic DVD-A's.

Saw Dr. John once at Navy Pier and once at Ravinia.

Have both Dr.John Classic Records DVD~As and they do sound SPECTACULAR. Never saw Dr.John perform live ..... lucky you!

Thanks for pushing me further in debt. :SG I bought this and Gris-Gris on green vinyl mono pressing. The other DVDA was available until earlier today. He (ME) who hesitates is lost...

Played Right Time, Wrong Place LP earlier in his memory.
 
It occurs to me that as a boy growing up in rural central PA, where we only had a couple radio stations which were very safe in their song selection, that Dr John and Leon Redbone may have been the first two artists who helped me to realize that there is life beyond the top 40. Now they've both gone in the same week. I know my world wouldn't have been the same without them.
