I have some 24/96 wav files from a needledrop that I would like to use to create a playable DVD-A disc. I was of the impression this could be done with the free DVD Audio Tools from http://dvd-audio.sourceforge.net/. I downloaded and installed the windows package but I cannot get any further. The instructions on their web site did not help much. Does anyone know if I can indeed use this free package to create DVD-A discs from 24/96 wav files and if there is a tutorial available somewhere?

I think I got it work using the command line version. The GUI version either does not work or I am doing something wrong.

Your best bet is to get a copy of Cirlinca's DVD-Audio Solo.
It's under $50, and great value.
That open source tool is a back engineered effort, and whilst interesting should not be relied upon to create a compliant disc.......
