I am copying this from Audiokarma. No one is helping me there.

I am having some issues here with this receiver. I bought it and it powered up and no audio. No relays click when you power it up. I checked the main amp board and got some reading that are not exceptable. The main amp board is x07-1230-10

The reading are as follows: starting with pin 1 All are in volts.
1=0
2=0
3= -.377
4= -40.5
5= 22.5
6= .735
7= 1.302
8= -42
9=31.6
10= 41.9
11= 1.16
12= .616
13= 0
14= 44
15= -41
16= -.535
17= 0
18= 2.8
19= .4
20= 0
21= -10.1
22= -41.3
23= -41.6
24= 47.4
25= 47.4
26= 46.6
27= 9.6
28= -41
29= -41
30= 37.5
31= 41.7
32= 1.18
33= .63
34= 0
35= 30
36= 31
37= -40.6
38= -.47
39= 0
40= 0

What the pins should read as follows.
1= 0
2= 0
3= 0
4= -44
5= .08
6= .67
7= 1.21
8= -46 (-40)
9= 0
10= -46 (-40)
11= 1.4
12= .65
13= 0
14= 0
15= -44
16= -.48
17= 0
18= 0
19= 0
20= 0
21= -.54
22= -44
23= -44
24= 0
25= 0
26= .6
27= 1.1
28= -46
29= -46
30= 0
31= 46
32= 1.2
33= .65
34= 0
35= 0
36= 0
37= -44
38= -.5
39= 0
40= 0

First, get yourself a good schematic for this receiver. Then:

Pin 3...Should read 0 You read .377 Something shorted to bring this voltage to this point..back trace
Pin 9...Should read 0 You read 31.6 Something shorted to bring this voltage to this point..back trace
Pin 14.Should read 0 You read 44 Something shorted to bring this voltage to this point..back track

Do this for all your readings that don't match as above. Usually these false readings are caused either by faulty capacitors or in some cases shorted resistors or diodes.

I know this seems a bit simplistic, but sometimes the most severe problems have routine causes.

Good luck,

MTGC (Michael)
