Having sold hi-fi for many years, I place little creedence in specs. There are lies, damn lies and specs/statistics.

Does that $50 car audio power amp really have as many watts as my $1500 B&K power amp?? I must have been gypped. lol!!

Yeah, specs are "la-la land"...
My Pioneer receiver has a 1% THD distortion at 6 ohms(?) and a freq response up to 100K (yeah , right)!!!
But, for being what it is, it's a good piece of equipment.
I got it on 2008 for about €1200.
It's a VSX-AX2AS

So, the Pioneer on sale looks SWEET!!!

I still don't understand why the less pricey models don't have analog in. I like all the inputs I can get as I seem to fill them all up one way or another.
