Not really a QQ concern, per se, but Pitchfork is one of several places I rely on to learn about new music, surround or no. So...very sad to see the music-writing ecosystem shrink yet again.

Yeah--I check in there pretty regularly, too. I don't think they pay their writers as well, though (or in some cases, not at all?).

Had no idea they were still around tbh.Doesn't sound like I missed much but I always lived in a big city didn't need anyone to tell me to hit the dive bars/independent venues and see what was cookin'
NPR writers can't help but have to reflect everything through the oppression lens it's so tiring.
Gee "of it's mostly white guy founders" started writing a blog about indie rock,,,what a shocker
I mean statistically I had no idea that white guys were the majority of indie rockers
