I’m just listening to an as yet unreleased vinyl test pressing version of my friend Paul Black’s latest blues rock album called Beautiful Sin. It’s pretty good too and sounds nicer than the pre release CD copy.

am re-ripping my 12 or so different pressings I have of the Boston S/T LP since I am hearing a big difference between my "consumer setup" with the MOTU 828es/Polkies and the "industry standard recording/mixing studio" Apogee Symphony I/O / Adam A7Vs+Genelec tank sub 7630...
On my 2nd copy which is the red stamped Promo with orange labels that came with the huge and quite rare poster which proudly hangs in my studio...of course, an early Double Wally "1-B deadwax" which sounds incredible; not saying the Allan Zentz mastering was bad, just different.
Can't really describe the differences, I can just say..."ooooeeee doggy!" or should I say "oooeee kitty!" in honor of Tata???
