Please HELP!! I have a Technics SS-7700 Turntable that requires a new drive motor. I'm unable to find a replacement or any specifications for the motor, if i can get specs on the motor i might be able to replace with a modern alternative.

Does anyone have a service manual, schematics etc for this record player?

I'm located in Australia so 240v 50Hz

The motor looks serviceable. What is wrong with it?

I don't see the drive shaft or pulley.

Hello there, The SS-7700 and other turntables used in CD-4 units from the early 70's all had a 100v 50/60hz motor the platters had different size inner drum to match the mains frequency of the country. This ment the turntable would be suitable for any country as the mains transformers were produced for each country with a 100v outpput for the turntable.
If you cut the plug off the ss-7700 turntable the cord has brown, blue and green wires however this doesn't mean it runs on 240v and the green is certainly not an earth.
It is possible to get a small 240v to 100v transformer as used to run items made in Japan. I have done this and it works as you would expect.
I do have a spare motor if you still need one
