I own the vinyl version (italian version) of the Genesis - The lamb lies down down on broadway (1974). That record sounded so strange in stereo, so, by now, I thought it was intended to be mixed in quad, particularly in Qs.
Tried to listen to it in Qs via VST plugin and the result is amazing. I searched the web to find some articles about any release of that record in quad, but I found nothing.
Is it possible that the record is effectively in quad and not only stereo?
I own the remastered cd and it sounds a bit different.
