Important Information

The artist wants to give fans the best chance to buy tickets at face value.
If you purchase tickets through Ticketmaster and can't attend, you'll have the option to resell your tickets to other fans at the original price paid on Ticketmaster's Face Value Exchange.
Please note, tickets to these events are mobile only and restricted from transfer.

I was pretty excited when I saw the announcement for this show, but the ticket prices seem borderline criminal before you add in the service fees. Big disappointment.

I saw them last year at Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut. My wife bought the tickets and I don’t remember exactly what she paid but I do recall that it was over $100 a ticket but less than $150 a ticket. The show was outstanding and the backup band was the best of the best(kind of like when I saw Steely Dan live some years ago). Stuart Duncan on fiddle/guitar/banjo, etc. and Jay Bellerose on drums were, by themselves, worth the price of admission.

Edit:
The following were standouts from the set list:
Rock and Roll
Gallows Pole
The Battle of Evermore
When The Levee Breaks

It’s almost criminal that they didn’t put out a live recording(audio AND video)!

I get it but you can always book an overnight(I know, it’s not my money). 🤔
Yep a cheapskate  The tickets for the two Bristol gigs are £25 for Pineapple Thief & £30 for Riverside, a hotel in Bristol near the gigs is about £120 per night! I am a night owl so driving back isn't to bad, driving there is worse due to traffic (its about 85-90 miles away).

Even better if you go with a friend and split the driving! Anyway, for me to get to see TPT I would need to book a transatlantic flight so, no matter what, you win!

I have had a couple of more insane moments where I was considering whether to fly to the USA to to go to a gig! First was just after finishing Uni and the Floyd were playing Madison Square Gardens (I think) so tail end of 1979, and the other was to see Peter Frampton, who's UK gigs were re-arranged due to Covid then cancelled due to his illness (I think he did one gig last year in the Albert Hall but I couldn't have gone).

Farewell tours are especially tough to miss when the artist "still has it." I am so glad that my brother in-law talked us into getting tickets to see Aretha Franklin during her farewell tour.

It's 1am and not long back from The Pineapple Thief gig in Bristol. They were storming, really rocked, great sound. Worth the long drive, so hopefully they'll be gigging near you, get a ticket!

.... and on the way back one of the albums I listened to in the car was the Quadio mix of Paranoid, great album & mix, but rather a few beats per minute, I had to keep slowing down!

Most cool Sir Duncan! You have surround sound in your car?!

Yep the B&O surround system in an Audi A5 - works well...................apart from the music selection software which was designed for playlists, so is cr*p to use, a touch screen in the car at 70mph isn't fun when you have to scroll and select, folder, album etc. from the root of the SSD each time (it doesn't even remember the last position) or the album just repeats!

Poor you! 🤣

At least I'll be able to listen in surround shortly after selecting an album and inadvertently 'parking' the car in a hedge, ditch, barrier................... :ROFLMAO:

I have form ............. many moons a go I came round a corner on a narrow country lane, saw a lorry coming the other way, braked, and 'found' the diesel spillage on the road, after I hit the hedge and the car rolled, the cassette of Thin Lizzy continued to merrily play "When The Sun Goes Down" as the tape poured out of the machine!

That’s what you get for driving with an 8 track mind! So glad that you survived it!
