If one is open at all to “smooth jazz,” then you might want to check out Time Again, saxophonist David Sanborn’s 2003 debut on the Verve label. Sanborn makes a balanced use of all speakers in this 5.1 SACD hybrid (now available for pre-order as a DVD-A). It is a very well recorded, multi-channel album.

I've always enjoyed David Sanborn on other folks albums, maybe I will check this one out when the DVD-A shows

It's a good one on Surround SACD. Another winner that came out about the same time on Surround SACD is the "Nature Boy" album by Aaron Neville.
