Chrome Dreams II Confusion

I recently ordered Neil Young's Chrome Dreams II CD/DVD Special Edition because I had read that the DVD Video was 5.1 surround. I just received it today and I'm not finding any option for a 5.1 channel playback. In the Set Up menu on the dvd it just talks about the fact that the DVD is a 24bit 96kHz audio track with improved dynamic range. No mention or option for playing back in surround in any mode.
So, this is not surround after all?

No its not a 5.1 disc. Like a lot of Neil's discs its a stereo DVD sounds great though. Maximum compatibility though 96/24 PCM

Crap. Well, I'm glad I only paid $6.50 for it rather than the $22 that Amazon was asking. I like Neil Young, but would likely never have purchased it if I knew it wasn't surround. Just goes to show you can't believe what you read on the internet.

Yeah. Old Neil abandoned DVD-A and 5.1 really quickly. Gotta love that "super saturated stereo"...........
