The first live band I ever saw were The Groundhogs in 1974, I think I have every album in most formats, and all the Tony TS McPhee solos as well! Sadly Tony McPhee had a bad stroke a few years ago so doesn't do much Groundhogs & Tony McPhee Official Web Site (thegroundhogs.co.uk) though they have a facebook page - but I won't do farcebook!

These 1963 recordings made for a Danish label sound amazing.

A old freind revisited today, fierce album.
Freddie King-Texas Cannonball orginally released in 1972 and then as this Stereo only DVD-A in 2002.
Texas Blues at it's finest.
Listening as a 24/96 FLAC rip. DR's are 11's, 12's, 13's, 14's, 15.
10 tracks with 7 Bonus Tracks.

Without going to critical listening with pen and paper, I was wondering if any of you have an opinion?
We have two versions to consider, both are Hybrid SACD, stereo, DSD64.

Analogue Productions Texas Hurricane Box Set released 2004 6 Discs. These discs have commentary here and there with tracks called "SRV SPEAKS".

DR's are basically the same, small differences.

The MOFI's released 2011.

They sound very close to me. The AP adds the SRV Speaks and some live tracks. So maybe the AP Box set is a better deal?

Fantastic show.

Another Bernie Grundman remastering home run. This LP is straight-up legendary! I have a feeling it is going to be the crown jewel of my recent trip to Squeezebox! Highest possible recommendation!
