Powder Dry contains 16 tracks over a 40 minute duration and it's fair to say it's the most eclectic of my releases; moving from the accessible to the experimental, the soft to the hard, the electronic to the acoustic etc. As a first - beyond the performance and production all being me - it also contains a couple of instrumentals.
Steven Wilson has mixed the album in stereo and 5.1 Surround.
It was exciting putting the music together and, overall, it feels like something different (for me) in several places: A fresh start almost.
Facebook announcement

Tim recently signed to KScope.

Pre-order up. Rather confusingly, listing says 5.1 Dolby Digital, while the disc shows dts and DVD-Audio logos:unsure:

DVD-Audio logos mean nothing these days. DTS logos, on the other hand, are unlikely to be used unless the license fee has been paid. Here's hoping. Too bad it's not a Blu-ray with lossless surround, though. I guess that's out of Tim's production budget.
It was Tim himself who said that it's probably gonna be a DVD-A on his facebook profile last week, so yes, there is still hope;)

But yeah, the confusion associated with the misuse of the DVD-Audio logo has been around for about a decade.

On the Kscope mailing list it says Dolby Digital 5.1 :

'Powder Dry' will be released on the following formats:
  • Limited edition – 2 disc - CD & DVD - includes DVD with 24 bit 48khz PCM stereo and 5.1 Dolby Digital mixes by Steven Wilson

On Burning Shed too…

I've just ordered from Rarewaves:

https://www.rarewaves.com/products/0802644802077-powder-dry-cd-dvd-edition

£13.31 there (free postage), and they currently have a 10% sale off everything there until Friday night (code RWMAY10) if you spend £20, so down to £11.98 so its a no brainer!

I combined it with the David Gilmour Luck and Strange bluray, which I hadn't pre ordered yet. That's £24.67 there, so £22.20 after 10% off :D :

Rarewaves also have the 2 Howard Jones sets for £24.82 each, £22.34 after 10% off, which I haven't ordered yet. Shall I or shan't I
