Chesky Records has released the first two Surround Sound SACDs in their New York Sessions series of Jazz Recordings.
Of equal, and perhaps more interest, is the announcement that their next SACD releases on September 26, 2006 will include a new Chesky SACD Sampler entitled World's Greatest Audiophile Vocal Recordings. This one has 12 songs with a mix of cuts from earlier Chesky SACDs and cuts from albums Chesky has issued on CDs but not on SACDs. (At least not yet). Sounds like an interesting one to watch for.
