Disc image players for smartphones

Hi Folks,

I'm a newbie at smartphones. Does a disc image (DVD, SACD) player exist for smartphones (Android)? I'm only aware of the foobar mobile foundraiser project http://mobile.foobar2000.com/ .

I have downloaded it myself too but have absolutely no experience with the app ,I'm struggling with it myself at the moment (Galaxy S4)

I did a quick test. DST compressed DSD audio (both file or iso format) doesn't play on Kamerton installed on my LG Leon. Uncompressed stereo DSD files (dsf, dff) play fine. I wonder if a more powerful smartphone can handle compressed DSD.

Yes I'm playing Tangerine Dream - Phaedra iso at the moment

I don't have dst files to try, working on it now

FYI - Some SACDs have DST compressed stereo, but you can extract uncompressed DSD to get around that.

You can always create individual DSF files for playback with the free ISO2DSD program.

I have no experience with that whatsoever :xp:

I'm playing uncompressed dff files now and they play flawlessly.

FYI
Tried and seems VLC (Android) supports DVD-video iso playback. However, afaik unrooted phones will have a file size issue with > 4 GB iso's.
