Hi,

As prog rock bands are quite popular among QQ members, some might be interested in a band called Freedom To Glide. f2g is a project by Pete Riley and Andy Nixon. Their music a nice blend of Floydish, PT-ish stuff. Andy and Pete are also part of the Pink FLoyd tribute band Dark Side of The Wall, so the influence is obvious. Nevertheless they take the influence and make it their own. Well written songs, and excellent musicianship.

They release two EPs so far,

The Rain EP and The Wait. The Rain EP only available as download, the cd has sold out. The Wait is still available on cd and includes 5 songs that are not on the full lenght album! http://freedomtoglide.bandcamp.com/

This album is superb! As I wrote some of the tracks were released on the two eps already, but on the album these somgs are more developed.

Most of the songs are linked and some of the theme reappear later during the album. Very good melodies and great production. When you like prog rock, or want to try something different, you will not be disappointed.
