Oh the time I wasted watching MTV around ’84 & ’85 in particular. At the time, I couldn’t stand certain artists or genres they played, but now I appreciate how expansive my musical experience was with all that (relative) variety.

Not sure how this one compares, but the recently released Craft Recordings hybrid SACD sounds fantastic, and includes three bonus tracks from the same sessions. Little to no compression/limiting in mastering; high DR. Comfortably below violating 0dB true peak.

Truth be told, I never bought any Galway albums before. Oh, I've heard him and liked what I heard. Contrary to popular belief, I don't buy everything.

I bought the 2 SACD set for the Quad mix of In the Pink w/Mancini & Galway. I am a Mancini completist. I've enjoyed all three Galway albums in this set.

What about In Concert by PPM SACD?

I don’t have In Concert on SACD, just on CD and they only play “Puff..” from the Moving album. I think the SACDs of 1700 and In The Wind sound excellent. The SACD of their 1st album is very noisy… with a lot of low end rumble that sounds to me to be a stage floor. How does In Concert sound on SACD?
The first 3 PP&M albums have a very special place in my childhood and were the first group that I loved. They still hold up and are magic to me.
