Who started the rumor of no more MC DualDisc releases since last year? There are several new for '06, including Pink's unpopular new effort (at least, here). And then there's:

South Beach Sounds -- Miami Music Week Vol 1

containing various up-to-the-minute cuts of What The Kids are Dancing To from names you've probably heard of. But the DVD side contains two Alan Parsons tracks in DD 5.1, from his latest CD "A Valid Path":

Mammagamma '04
We Play the Game

The first cut appears to be a remix of the 1982 Eye in the Sky track (with pitch raised from the original D minor up to F#). Both presented in robust discrete surround sound.

The other cuts on the DVD side make for some interesting SS listening also.

NOTE: This is packaged in a standard CD jewel case with no DualDisc sticker. At Best Buy and other retailers, you'll find it only in the CD section. Unless you know what to look for, you'll probably pass it right by.

And who is responsible for this unexpected offering?
None other than our favorite kicking dog, Silverline.

P.S. Another "hidden" AP surround track, the title cut from Time Machine can be found on the Ultimate DVD Platinum in both DD and DTS:
