Steven Wilson, for example, has just written a piece for his website on Godley & Creme's album "Consequences", an album he holds in very high regard! :)

Wow, nice to see SW give that album some love. It was a most unusual project but one I'm very fond of as well. It's a shame, I've read several quotes over the years from Kevin Godley essentially dismissing the whole endeavor.

Their follow up, L, is brilliant:

An Englishman In New York from their 1979 "Freeze Frame" album is.. still quite something.. I used to play that a lot as kid.. catchy, quirky.. love it..

I wonder if SW is dropping a hint that he is doing or has done some of their music in 5.1, which would be wonderful.. can you imagine if he got his hands on 10cc's actual back catalogue.. that would really be something.

Me too, Adam! Freeze Frame is my second fave of theirs behind L.

'Twould be a dream come true...

"An Englishman In New York" was another song that was featured in the documentary when discussing Godley & Creme's work after 10cc, but it doesn't have the same emotional impact for me as "Cry" or other songs they were on while in 10cc.
But seriously, if I could not be the one to mix "I'm Not In Love" surround, I would hope it would be because Steven Wilson got to it first. ;)

I happen to channel surf this morning and noticed Brian Setzer on the Palladia Channel doing some Christmas/Rock songs...another artist that I had forgotten all about...remember this one

A great film with great music - and some out of this world dance moves! Fwiw, I've seen the musical being performed and the live show is just as good :)

A blast from the past... Back in high school, my friends & I used to dress up as those characters. Then, we'd go to the midnight show to sing & dance to our hearts' content.:banana::banana:

It's great to have you here. Now if only Markie would stop playing hard to get.
