2 CH LPCM, 5.1 DTS HD MA should be cool on BD!

I wondering if either of these discs is lossless and/or 96kHz?

According to the post before yours the Blu-ray is DTS HDMA (I assume for 5.1) so its lossless... I will find out if its 48k or 96k when I get it.

I have the DVD on order. Hopefully that's 24/48 DTS. If not I'll also order the BD. Too bad it's not 24/96 for both 5.1 and stereo.

Disappointing that the Deluxe set only has a lossy DVD, yet there is obviously a blu-ray available. Kscope seem to be making a right mess of Anathema releases lately.

Is the DTS on the DVD full bitrate?

The CD version of Distant Satellites had pretty bad dynamic range based on DR database info:

How does the 24/48 5.1 mix sound/score?

I'll check the 5.1 tonight, but here is the DR for the Stereo 24/48 LPCM on the Blu-ray... looks like it has the same value as the CD... :(:

Thanks LK. Same mastering as the CD as I'd expect for a new release.

Hopefully the surround is more dynamic. How does it sound, dynamics wise?

That doesn't look too bad if you ask me. Most albums I seem to buy these days are around DR4-5. Of course, it could be much better but DR8 is decent for a 2014 release. I've listened to the first couple of tracks and there are dynamics there, just that once the full band kicks in you can hear slight compression/limiting (which is most likely part of the mix). I've certainly heard much, much worse.

Here's the DR for the surround:
