I love horror films, but I wonder if I should even ask about yours. :yikes LOL!

You've definitely got to get this one. Psycho Street is killer!

I went with a friend to a concert. Turned out to be Richard Thompson. As a thank you, my buddy sent me Rumour and Sigh while I was in Army bootcamp.
Of course, you aren't allowed CDs in bootcamp. You aren't allowed ANYTHING.
The drill sergeants opened my mail and found the CD. They played it. They found the last track to be demented. That Sunday, they locked me and my whole training company (80 soldiers) in a room and blasted Psycho Street on repeat for 3 hours. On their way out the door, right before locking it, they explained that "the next 3 hours are compliments of Specialist Vieira..."

...and a little Tom Petty before I leave this musical cocoon tonight. :)

Düde.

Don't even tell us you got one of these bad boys!

Yikes!! (or... KYAA~!! :yikes as they say here in Japan)

Are you serious!? It makes me wonder who the demented ones are. And... It reminds me of the scene in Silence of the Lambs...when Hannibal Lecter is punished with the "Brother Jim" religious TV show blasted in his cell at the Psychiatric Hospital...https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=97BEH2DnnLw

At least you had a good song. LOL! But I hope you can still enjoy the music. It might go down well with a nice Chianti...https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=A6gClalBxbw

Yes, seriously! Though my mind did scramble a couple of facts. We weren't locked in. We were allowed to use the restroom, just down the hall, one at a time. I'm sure some of us used that as a chance to get away from the music, but you could take too long because others were waiting. They instructed us that if they heard the music stop or if we abused the restroom privilege there would be hell to pay. Ordinarily, they would put on classic rock for us. That 3 hours was our letter-writing or study time.
I am able to enjoy the album. I never heard the whole thing until I graduated bootcamp. It is a marvelous. It took a while to be able to listen to Psycho Street without PTSD though!
I don't know a whole lot of RT. R&S, Mock Tudor and Sweet Warrior are about it. I vastly enjoyed the concert I saw.
Sadly, the buddy who gave me that CD is gone now. :(

Have you heard the surround mixes of Pale Communion and Blackwater Park? I think the're both excellent (PC is an SW mix).

Yes! I agree they're very good. Heritage too. Opeth gets better as they go, but I love the metal stuff when I'm in a mood for it (wife out of the house).
Hasn't Wilson done more than one? But yeah, love duh peth. I won't be sorry if they stay proggy.

SW mixed both of their last two albums in surround (Heritage & PC)

Donald Fagen- The Nightfly SACD...this disc seems to fly under the radar when the better sounding titles are mentioned...IMO it's right up there with the best of the best...and for those that don't have it...you can still get one...well worth the money HERE
