Ornette Coleman - Something Else!!!!

Really nice album, before he went the avant garde route. Excellent sound mastered by Bernie Grundman, Contemporary Records albums always sound good.
My first Craft Recordings SACD (two more in the queue), a good start.

This is nitpicking but they cut the tray cards a smidgeon too big, end result the back has a bit of that wavy look that plagued many of the WEA DVD-As.

Bill Evans - You Must Believe In Spring

Very nice album, not slow but laid back. Excellent recording, his piano sounds clear, other than a few spots of distortion. These Craft SACDs are really good,

I have played the Fiona Jay Hawkins Christmas SACD "Joy" more this year than I can remember. Not much on the discrete surround effects but beautiful sounding.

Always thought this was an odd release for Audio Fidelity.
Only the 2nd time I’ve played it. I’m sure everyone involved is talented and cared about this project, but to me it’s a boring listen.
